Dearest Family and Friends,

 

It's been a glorious week here in the Ohio. There is a lot of work to be done here. I hope you all had a splendid Valentines Day! Saturday February 16 marked the 182nd Anniversary of Doctrine and Covenants 76. The Plan of Salvation. So cool. That was received down at the Johnson Farm in Hiram, OH! I love the plan of salvation. It's one of my favorite things to teach about. A loving Heavenly Father has a plan for each one of us to have happiness. So cool. I was amazed at how many people don't believe that God loves them.

This week was a great one. Our mission has been studying the Law of Chastity this week. It's been really neat. It's definitely something that a lot of our investigators struggle with so President Vellinga spent all zone conference talking about it. Satan is working so hard to destroy the Plan that Heavenly Father has for us, and he knows that the way to do that is through breaking the family apart. But the answer to less heartache and more happiness and love is simple abiding by this simple law. It was a really good conference.

We had another fireside last night. Our theme was "we'll bring the world his truth." It was kind of a rough week regarding the fireside. On Wednesday within and hour both our Keynote speaker cancelled and our Recent Convert Testimony cancelled. We sat in the car for like 5 minutes trying to decide what to do, so we decided to go out and tract and not worry about it. We had 4 days notice to find someone else to speak. Luckily we have spiritual giants all over Kirtland, one of our Facilities Management missionaries is also the Cleveland Stake Patriarch. We asked him, and he was more than willing. Then all we had to do was send out a text to missionaries asking about their converts and we were able to pick one from the choices. So while it was a little stressful, it all worked out in the end. The spirit last night was sooo strong. Both converts did so good. They have solid testimonies. Then Patriarch Rice related DandC 18:44 to a quilt in the fact that all of us are bringing about HIS great work. We were able to get next months fireside planned as well. It will be an Easter themed one. Matthew 28:12. We are excited about this one. It will be a great way to start Easter.

It should be a nice relaxing week this week. No meetings so that will just be lovely. Transfers is in 2 weeks. Woah. I hate 5 week transfers they go by soo fast.

Whelp I love you all! Sorry this one isn't as action packed as some of them. We are going to a Jewish Synagogue with the Marx today for P-day!
